Elektra #1  This figure was originally painted with no background, but once everyone saw her we knew this would be the first cover, so I got to work immediately on the Paris skyline (I know the Arc of Triumph is not that close to the Eiffel tower--just humor me). The foreshortening of the arms and knives was really tough, but I got it to work by distorting the sais a bit.   If you look very closely at the comic book cover, you will notice little skulls in her eyes.
