| Black Widow #1
This was my first opportunity to paint a blond haired character and it
was some challenge. I was determined to keep practicing after this
pic, and I finally went off the deep end with the Inquest Angel painting
(she's in the Wizard Gallery). The Black Widow storyline is really dark
and weird, so I decided to part from the colorful backgrounds I usually
do and came up with this creepy old wooden basement. My favorite part of
this painting is the mist and wet floor--I wanted the room to look
cold. |
