THE AVENGERS     Marvel asked me to do a remake of the John Byrne classic "Nights of Wundagore" cover from Avengers #187. This was a real treat because I grew up in the era of John Byrne X-men and Avengers and he was one of the creators who got me interested in comics in the first place. I didn't need to ask them for any reference materials for this one.
