JOE FRIDAY LOVES SHE-HULK!  When Marvel Editor in Chief Joe Quesada relaunched his weekly column on www.Newsarama.com ,   he asked a bunch of his artists pals to celebrate by making "alternate covers" for the event.   So,  I thought it would be cool to have him nestled comfortably into the prodigious chest of She-Hulk!     Great idea right?     For some reason, this image shows up distorted on the Newsarama site, so here it is at the correct dimensions!  Now you can truly enjoy this classic.
IGN's BATTLE OF THE BABES!:   EMMA FROST TAKES ON ALL COMERS on the world's biggest entertainment website.  IGN.COM recently held a tournament where people could vote on the HOTTEST COMIC BABE OF ALL-TIME.    With HALF A MILLION people voting over the entire month of July, my girl Emma "The White Queen" Frost knocked out all these sorry hos, and marched home triumphantly with the coveted prize!
Voters were able to view pictures of each of the 64 femme fatales before casting their vote, and Emma was primarily represented by illustrations by yours truly.   uh,  Anyway,  the final semi-round battles, pitting Emma VS Invisible Girl and Rogue were laughable, with Emma destroying the competition by 20 percentage points on both occasions.  The final championship round with Emma facing off against Fairchild was never in doubt, and Emma planted her butt-up with a tulip in it.  A humiliating 10% vote advantage was the final tally.  So now, all you dirty mentirosas can take note:  EMMA FROST holds the title--THE HOTTEST COMIC BABE OF ALL-TIME!!!
HALO CAKE This is a cake made by Becky from North Carolina for her 14 year old son.  It was done by printing my Halo painting on to edible paper.  To think of my painting dissolving away inside someone's stomach is really upsetting me!

THIS BARBIE WILL SLIT YOUR THROAT FROM EAR TO EAR  Just got my ELEKTRA BARBIE and decided to put her in a scene... wow, you really CAN do cool stuff with Photoshop!
I GOT PUMPED AT WIZARD'S PHILLY SHOW    Below is the Philadelphia Daily News from the weekend of Wizard Philly (June 3rd, 2005 edition).  Writer Jerome Maida wrote an interview with me, and I did a lot of ranting that thankfully he edited out!  Anyway, the newspaper used the cover to Emma Frost #1 as its opener to the article (dwarfing the evil phone thrower Russell Crowe) --is that freaking cool or what?!  Thanks to Jerome for bringing me some extra copies!
GUILTY DOG!!    Sometimes I like to play with my wood...I mean I love carpentry, but I have learned not to leave pieces lying around because my dog will chew them all to bits (including my drawing pencils!).  Anyway,  yesterday I had just finished trimming a piece of moulding, and forgetfully left a small scrap on the floor.  The next thing I knew, she had picked up the scrap and scared the bejezus out of me because it looked like she had whacky bucked-teeth!  After I collected myself I took these shots...
I AM BEQUEVED SOME TREASURE    On a recent trip to the Dallas Comicon, I met Staff Sgt. Jesse Eladjoe.  A member of the United States Airforce who was so impressed with my artistic endeavours he decided I deserved 250 bucks!!   Well, 250 "Saddam bucks" that is.... which I guess is worthless now... Is that what you really think of my art Eladjoe?!   I'm just kiddin Jesse--this is a cool gift.   I'll "treasure" it forever--thanks! (note the blood stain at the bottom--Geez!! don't mess with SSgt. Jesse!!)
