Missive to the Sig army-Feb 2008

The past five years have been great fun, and I want to thank everyone for their tremendous support of my artwork over that time.  I have genuinely loved the creations and signature tags that you all have created and as many of you know, I even dedicated a page on my web site so everybody could see what the hobby of sigging was all about!   The internet has really changed the face of the art world, and things move and change so quickly it has been a real strain to keep track of what’s going on (I’m just a one man business you know).  With the rise of myspace, ebay, etc  I’ve felt for some time now that I need to get a grasp on my artwork before I completely lose control of this vast internet world we all live in.  Signature taggers have been very good to me and even though the use of my artwork has gone from free to pay I feel it is a decision I had to make for my future. I feel that pay to use is a much more stable environment for my artwork when taking all things into consideration.

I understand that many of you are going to be upset with this decision, but I still love you.  I hope that after 5 years of free usage you will understand my business dilemma. Complete images and tubes are available now only through Creative Image Licensing & Management. One of the best advantages now gained is image quality as all the tubed files are created from the original layered Photoshop files.  If you like to tube them yourself, complete flat images are also available.    I thank everyone for their understanding in this matter and I am looking forward to giving everyone that chooses to purchase the use of my artwork an avenue that gives them a more permanent alternative.

Thank you very much for your support,
Greg Horn
