• DEADLINE #3   In this issue, Judge and Kat appear in "Spirit time",  a Victorian-age pocket of time.   I decided to give the scene a monotone color to show their new surroundings (kind of like a yellowed black and white photograph).  The pose is fairly standard romance novel stuff, but I love the mystery of Kat here--her right hand is saying "yes", her left hand is saying "no", and her facial expression seems to balance right in the middle...there is uncertainty in her which really makes the relationship more intriguing than spelling it out with a big sloppy embrace/kiss pose.
