• For the last cover of the deadline series, writer Bill Rosemann wanted a shot of the Judge holding the limp form of Kat.   My main concern was that I had seen this shot on comic covers about a dozen times (X-men #136, Conan #100, Crisis, etc.), and wanted my version to look very different from what had come before.    That is what prompted me to try this wormseye angle, which lends a nice dramatic feel to the scene.
