• ELEKTRA #10  Whoa!  Ol' Elektra's seen better days, huh?  Before I started this cover, it was hinted that Elektra might develop a heroin addiction when she doesn't have a job to do--you know, like a soft core Sherlock Holmes habit.   Anyway, I ran with the concept and originally this painting had a hypodermic needle on the floor which that had fallen from her hand.  Afterwards, the idea was thrown out of the script and we decided it would be best to remove the needle from the cover.  Now, I get a lot of questions about the meaning of this painting--one guy thought she was showing her cooter to somebody across the street and I said "Dude, you're right!".
