• Elektra #6 was part of Marvel's "silent issue" month and Brian Bendis actually provided me with a layout for this cover--  well,okay.... actually he took a jpeg of Elektra #2, flipped it over, cropped the head, and put this flesh colored glob over her face.  I asked him what's with the glob and he said  "That's her hand , Dude.  It's going "shhhh!"   I wish I had kept that.  Anyway, after I finished the painting,  it became the presenting Marvel image in the Previews catalog that month.   It was also used as Marvel's Christmas card for 2001 (see below).
