In addition to painting the 132nd Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus poster, I was also commissioned to provide about 15 spot illustrations of the circus' performers, clowns, animals, and vehicles. GREG HORN JOINS THE CIRCUS!! Rising comics star Greg Horn has been commissioned to illustrate the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus Poster for Feld Entertainment®, the world's largest provider of live action family entertainment with more than 25 million annual attendees.

This prestigious project for the Greatest Show on Earth® was one of the biggest Greg has ever tackled. "It was a monster job.... In addition to the circus poster, Ringling needed a slew of spot illustrations for advertising on billboards, newspapers, and such.", says the artist. " I didn't come out of my office for about 2 months, but I ended up with a project I'm really proud of and the Ringling Bros. poster looks pretty sweet at the top of my resume." Greg's growing reputation in the comics industry caught the eye of the ad agency representing Feld and soon they were on the phone planning the job. "Feld Entertainment," who also produces Disney on Ice® and Siegfried and Roy® at the Mirage Hotel "wanted some comic-style action for their poster and program guide and were set on getting a painter from the comics field.", says Horn. "They had seen some of my comic covers circulating around the internet and decided I was the man for the job." The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus poster has been an American tradition for over 130 years and Greg was more than happy to lend his talents to this cultural icon. The poster will premiere at the launch of the Circus' season and Greg's spot illustrations will be used to advertise the show over the next two years in 90 cities.
