RAIDER- GIRLS OF SUMMER This two-page spread is the opener for PSM2's
Girls of Summer article featuring all your favorite video game gals.
I also
supplied the cover art of the magazine (see below). For this painting,
PSM2 wanted Lara Croft in her bathing suit and I was concerned nobody would know
who the hell she is without her iconic green shirt, beige shorts, and hiking
boots. So, I came up with this idea to use certain props in the scene that
would clue the reader in to her identity (in case they didn't get it from her
glasses and ponytail). The result is Lara at the beach, relaxing
from one of her archaeological digs.
